Job Details
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
You should have most of the following:
- Manage client tax engagements, ensuring compliance, quality, and profitability
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships, including billing and collections
- Sign tax returns and oversee compliance for corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth clients
- Mentor and develop junior team members, conducting detailed reviews and performance tracking
- Monitor and manage workflow for tax preparation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Stay updated on tax law developments and provide strategic guidance to clients
- Participate in business development and expansion of firm services
- Lead in specialized tax areas and contribute to firm-wide initiatives
You should have most of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- CPA or EA Certification required
- More than five years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax compliance
- Strong background in corporate, partnership, and individual tax return preparation and review
- Expertise in multi-state taxation, tax planning, and compliance
- Ability to mentor staff, manage engagements, and drive business development
