Must have 5-7+ years of experience in tax compliance and consulting
Ideally looking for someone with broad experience, not just tax with tax preparation of Individual, S Corporations and Partnership tax returns
More prep than review
CPA is preferred but not required
Train and mentor staff accountants
Provide staff with budgets and expectations on every job
Client Management

• Monitor clients for tax planning opportunities
• Monitor clients to ensure they are compliant with all filing requirements
• Communicate with clients to obtain needed documentation
• Prepare complex tax returns and projects
• Meet with clients regularly to maintain relationships
• Manage client billing expectations
