Tax Manager

We are a growing, nation-wide CPA firm looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing team!

We are looking for a highly motivated Permanent Tax Manager to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tax management, sales tax, use tax, multi-state income tax returns, tax compliance, tax provision, property tax returns, property tax, annual reports, federal audit, state audit, income tax payments, and income tax compliance. The candidate must have at least 5+ years of experience in tax management.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the tax department and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the preparation and filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns, including sales tax, use tax, and property tax returns.
2. Ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including tax provision and tax compliance.
3. Overseeing the preparation and filing of all multi-state income tax returns.
4. Managing the annual reports and income tax payments for the company.
5. Coordinating and managing federal and state tax audits.
6. Providing tax advice and guidance to the company's management team.
7. Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. At least 5+ years of experience in tax management.
3. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including sales tax, use tax, and property tax.
4. Experience in managing multi-state income tax returns and tax compliance.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Experience in managing federal and state tax audits.
