Tax Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA certification required (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax planning and compliance
• Experience managing and supervising staff members
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review tax planning and compliance services for a variety of clients
• Conduct tax research and provide technical expertise to clients and staff
• Assist with tax audits and other tax-related issues
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for tax return preparation and to discuss tax-related issues
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Mentor and train staff members in tax planning and compliance
