Job Details

Job Description - This role is a member of the tax and finance organization with its focus on the tax provision, compliance, and planning function and will report to the Tax Director.


Job Requirements - Manage process relating to:
o Consolidated federal and state income tax returns
o Quarterly and year-end tax provision
o Monthly sales and use tax return
o Other tax filings
  • Assist with tax projections
  • Leads one-off tax projects
  • Communicate across business lines to assist in tax related matters
  • Coordinate with third party service providers to provide timely information as needed

Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • Advanced problem solving and communication skills
  • Advanced leadership skills
  • Sound understanding of business of accounting rather than practice of accounting
  • Strong understanding of firm’s marketing plan and practice
  • Advanced knowledge of tax laws
  • Expert ability to apply tax and accounting knowledge to client problems
  • Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
  • Proficiency with research tools
  • CPA License current and in good standing
  • Five to eight years or more of related experience
  • Demonstrate ability to plan and organize projects
