Tax Senior Accountant

We are a privately held organization that is made up of several different companies, across a wide range of industries.

We have a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days WFH), work on really fun projects and have amazing benefits, including a defined pension plan.

We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Tax Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax services to a variety of clients, including ultra-high net worth individuals, privately held businesses, and family offices. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Assist with tax planning and research for clients
• Communicate with clients and manage client relationships
• Review and supervise the work of junior staff members
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff members
• Assist with tax audits and other tax-related matters
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
• Experience with federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Experience with multistate taxation
• Experience working with ultra-high net worth clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software
