Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to optimize their tax positions.
  • Assist clients with tax strategies and long-term tax planning.
  • Identify tax savings opportunities for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and resolve tax-related queries.
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues.
  • Analyze tax implications of various financial transactions and provide recommendations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Assist in staff training and professional development.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of tax workpapers, calculations, and correspondence.
  • Generate reports and summaries for clients and internal use.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or a similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
