We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Senior to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax strategy, compliance, and planning. This role is pivotal to the successful financial management of our company and requires a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also has excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation, review, and submission of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S Corps.
2. Implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
3. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
4. Stay updated with current tax practices and changes in tax laws.
5. Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
6. Prepare and present detailed reports on audit findings and tax strategy recommendations to senior management.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and resolving any tax-related issues.
8. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA eligible.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably within a public accounting firm.
4. Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations pertaining to individuals, partnerships, and S Corps.
5. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and understandable manner.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
