We are an established firm that has been providing a range of services including: attestation (audit, review, and compilation), corporate and individual tax, bookkeeping and payroll support.

Due to growth we are seeking either a Tax Staff or Tax Senior Accountant to join our team.

This role has the flexibility to be Hybrid or fully remote.

We are seeking a Tax Staff/Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have 1+ years of experience in tax accounting and posses or working towards their CPA/EA. As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for providing tax services to our clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws, and preparing tax returns.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax issues and provide solutions
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and respond to their tax-related inquiries
• Assist in tax planning and compliance for clients
• Review and analyze financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 1+ years of experience in tax accounting
• Experience with CCH, Thompson Reuters is a plus
• CPA or EA is a plus
• Japanese fluency is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
