About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Accounts Payable (AP) Processor to join our fast-paced, high-volume, paperless AP environment. This role is more than just processing invoices—it requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage and resolve system-generated exceptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload invoices into the system and monitor automated processing.
Analyze and resolve invoice exceptions flagged by the system.
Process a high volume of invoices (approximately 500+ per month).
Ensure accuracy in invoice coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Utilize PO matching processes where applicable.
Communicate via email and phone to clarify and resolve invoice issues (minimal but necessary).
Qualifications & Skills:
2-3+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities for handling exceptions.
Tech-forward mindset with the ability to adapt to new systems and workflows.
Comfortable working with ambiguity—focusing on issues that require resolution while automated processes handle the rest.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with PO matching is a plus.
Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions (mostly email, occasional phone).
