We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Tool & Die Maintenance Machinist/Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Tool & Die Maintenance Machinist/Programmer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and programming a variety of tool and die equipment used in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and a strong attention to detail.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and programming of tool and die equipment such as milling machines, CNC machines, EDM machines, lathes, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand the specifications of the tool and die equipment
- Use precision tools to measure and inspect equipment to ensure it meets specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tool and die equipment to determine the root cause of problems
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment is operating at optimal levels
- Collaborate with other members of the manufacturing team to ensure production goals are met
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- 2+ years of experience in tool & die maintenance, die repair, and programming
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Experience with precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Proficient in the use of milling machines, CNC machines, EDM machines, lathes, and grinders
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for precision
