- Trademark Filings: Prepare and file trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other relevant agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements.
- Document Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date trademark files, including correspondence, applications, and client records.
- Trademark Searches: Conduct preliminary trademark searches to assess the availability of marks and assist attorneys in conducting comprehensive trademark searches.
- Client Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of case progress, deadlines, and required documentation.
- Deadline Management: Monitor and manage trademark deadlines, including maintenance filings and responses to office actions, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Trademark Docketing: Utilize docketing software to track and manage trademark-related dates and deadlines.
- Trademark Renewals: Assist in the preparation and filing of trademark maintenance and renewal documents.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research related to trademark law and provide summaries and analysis to attorneys.
- Billing Support: Assist with the preparation of client invoices and maintain accurate billing records.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of  years of experience as a Trademark Paralegal in a law firm
Proficiency in trademark docketing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of USPTO procedures and trademark law.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Paralegal certification is a plus.
