Job Details:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Superintendent for our rapidly expanding construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about the construction industry and has a keen interest in traveling. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our construction projects across various locations, ensuring that they are completed within the stipulated time and budget, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in warehouse construction, Procore, tilt-up construction, and industrial warehouse construction, including cold storage and self-storage facilities.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycles, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

2. Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication.

3. Implementing and maintaining construction schedules, identifying potential issues or delays, and devising solutions to keep projects on track.

4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.

5. Conducting regular site inspections, identifying any potential issues, and taking prompt action to resolve them.

6. Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries.

7. Facilitating and attending project meetings, providing insightful input and feedback, and contributing to decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

2. Proven experience in warehouse construction, Procore, tilt-up construction, and industrial warehouse construction, including cold storage and self-storage facilities.

3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and supervise the work of diverse teams.

5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and devise effective solutions.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

7. A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to implement and maintain safety procedures and standards.
