We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Trusts and Estates Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that will involve working on a wide variety of complex legal matters related to estate planning, trusts, and taxation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse clientele, providing expert advice and legal services tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. Responsibilities:

The Trusts and Estates Attorney will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and advising on a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
2. Providing expert advice on complex legal and tax matters related to estate planning, trusts, and estates.
3. Working closely with clients to understand their needs and goals, and developing tailored estate plans to meet these needs.
4. Representing clients in probate and trust administration proceedings.
5. Collaborating with other professionals, such as accountants and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive services to clients.
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in estate planning, trust, and tax law, and applying this knowledge to benefit our clients.
7. Managing and prioritizing multiple cases and projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Trusts and Estates Attorney role will have the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, trusts, and taxation law. Tax LLM strongly preferred.
4. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong knowledge of estate planning, trust, and tax law, and the ability to apply this knowledge to complex legal issues.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and tax concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and work effectively as part of a team.
8. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and projects effectively.
9. A commitment to providing exceptional client service, and a track record of achieving positive outcomes for clients.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
