We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Mobility Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of international legal issues, providing legal guidance and support to our multinational clients. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on global mobility, employment, and labor law, and will be responsible for managing a wide range of global mobility matters, including visa applications and cross-border regulatory matters.
Responsibilities:
The Global Mobility Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
1. Providing legal advice on a broad range of global mobility and immigration issues, including visa applications, work permits, and cross-border transfers.
2. Advising on employment and labor law matters in multiple jurisdictions, including the drafting, review, and negotiation of employment contracts and policies.
3. Managing cross-border regulatory compliance, including data privacy, tax, and social security issues.
4. Coordinating with internal teams and external counsel to ensure compliance with global mobility and immigration laws and regulations.
5. Developing and implementing global mobility strategies and policies to support business objectives.
6. Staying abreast of changes in global mobility and immigration laws and regulations, and providing training and updates to internal teams and clients as necessary.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in global mobility, employment, and labor law.
4. Proven experience in managing visa applications and cross-border regulatory matters.
5. Strong knowledge of international employment and labor laws and regulations.
6. Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and business-focused legal advice.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
9. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
10. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
