We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the administration of our payroll functions, ensuring our team members are compensated accurately and on time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's success while gaining valuable experience in the fast-paced and technologically-driven world of engineering.


As a Permanent Payroll Coordinator, you will:

1. Oversee the day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
2. Utilize UKG and UKG Pro systems to manage payroll functions, including data entry, payroll calculations, and report generation.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and labor laws to ensure compliance.
4. Assist in the setup of payroll for new hires, including the collection and verification of relevant paperwork.
5. Resolve any payroll discrepancies or errors promptly, providing excellent customer service to our employees.
6. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other company systems.
7. Prepare and submit reports detailing payroll activities to senior management.
8. Participate in audits and reviews of payroll records and processes, implementing improvements as needed.
9. Stay informed about the latest developments in payroll technology and industry best practices.


The ideal candidate for the Payroll Coordinator position will possess:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll coordinator role or similar position.
2. Proficiency in UKG and UKG Pro payroll systems.
3. Strong understanding of payroll procedures and tax regulations.
4. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certification from the American Payroll Association (APA) or equivalent body is a plus.
