Job Details

  • Provide underwriting support, answers, and guidance to customers and internal departments on real estate closings and title insurance matters.
  • Determine our company's willingness and ability to ensure within the parameters of those transactions.
  • Create and deliver relevant educational topics for our live seminars and webinars.
  • Establish relationships with new customers
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Being able to provide underwriting support in additional jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Respond to time-sensitive requests from customers for guidance in closing real estate transactions and mitigating risk.
  • Support and assistance with business development efforts.
  • Assist with audits as needed.
  • Conduct agent education in Spanish

  • Bilingual with exceptional verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • 3 to 10+ years of title insurance experience or real estate experience.
  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Must be a licensed attorney and in good standing in Florida.
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance rates and rules for all states of responsibility
  • Must remain current on all current developments in rules and regulations in the assigned states.
  • Ability to discuss and review proposed requests for coverage to determine potential risks
  • Suggest and provide adequate language in title commitments, policies, and endorsements that will protect our company's interests while assisting the company’s agents.
  • Ability to issue underwriting guidelines for all assigned states.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver relevant presentations to our company’s customers.
  • Ability to support the development of new customers.
