Job Summary

As a Veterinarian, you'll be responsible for offering top-notch preventive, diagnostic, and medical treatments to our canine and feline patients. The role includes everything from wellness exams and vaccinations to surgical procedures and end-of-life care. You'll work closely with our dedicated team to ensure every pet receives the exceptional care they deserve.

Responsibilities

Conduct wellness exams and provide preventive care including vaccinations, dental care, and nutritional counseling.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital imaging, ultrasound, and lab work to accurately diagnose pet health issues.
Administer medical treatments for a variety of conditions, ranging from ear infections and allergies to chronic illnesses like diabetes and arthritis.
Perform surgical procedures including spay & neuter, orthopedic surgeries, and dental extractions.
Provide hospice and euthanasia care, helping pet owners navigate the emotional process.
Respond to emergency and urgent care situations, offering immediate treatments for conditions like toxic ingestion and broken bones.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
State Veterinary Board License and DEA license must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
Strong communication skills to effectively counsel pet owners on treatment plans and preventive care.
Experience with both canine and feline medicine is essential.
