Job Details
We're looking for a strategic and execution-focused Vice President of FP&A to build and lead a modern, insight-driven financial planning and analysis function. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will establish and enhance a cohesive reporting and forecasting framework across the organization, enabling consistent visibility into financial and operational performance. By introducing or refining scalable planning processes, standardized KPIs, and advanced business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI), the VP will equip executive leadership with clear, real-time insights to guide decision-making. This role offers the chance to shape how success is measured and supports growth across a dynamic creative services organization.
Role and Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to provide timely business insights and financial guidance that drive strategic decisions.
Lead financial integration for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, post-merger tracking, and aligning KPIs across entities.
Build and manage a lean, high-impact FP&A team focused on delivering actionable analysis supporting a multi-service creative agency model.
Foster a culture where FP&A is recognized as a strategic business partner providing expert financial counsel across creative, operational, and executive teams.
Design, implement, and continuously improve core FP&A processes such as annual planning and budgeting, monthly reporting and KPI tracking, rolling forecasts with scenario modeling, and executive financial reviews.
Develop a scalable FP&A roadmap aligned with growth strategies, including process standardization, automation, and calendar management.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to create financial plans and KPIs that reflect project profitability, resource use, client retention, and multi-service revenue streams.
Deliver clear, visually engaging insights using advanced BI tools to monitor real-time financial and operational performance.
Partner with IT and business teams to enhance data governance and integration of financial data.
Drive continuous improvements in forecasting and reporting by embedding industry best practices and automation.
Build strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, Production, and other functions to align financial strategies with business priorities.
Act as a trusted advisor on capital allocation, cost management, and investment decisions supporting sustainable growth.
Champion ongoing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Professional Qualifications
Proven FP&A leadership experience, ideally within acquisitive or private equity-backed organizations.
Background in creative agencies or project-based service businesses, managing multi-service revenue, project-level profitability, and client-driven performance metrics.
Significant experience in M&A financial due diligence and post-merger integration.
Track record of developing and executing financial strategies supporting organic and acquisition-driven growth.
