Requirements
Responsibilities
- 2+ years of experience in wage and hour class action defense in California.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Must have a California bar license.
- Licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state of California.
- Meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with employer clients to provide advice and counsel on high-stakes wage and hour matters.
- Responsible for drafting pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, drafting discovery and review and analysis of discovery responses.
- Participate in and contribute to overall strategy from case inception to completion.
- Take depositions, perform exposure analysis, attend mediations and engage in settlement negotiations.
- Potentially speak and publish on class action and PAGA issues.
