Warehouse Supervisor
Primary Purpose:
Supervise material handling personnel, oversee warehouse operations, and optimize production line support. Ensure safe, accurate inventory storage and retrieval while improving efficiency in material flow and changeovers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise warehousing, storage, and staging of raw materials for production.
Oversee material picking to ensure timely and efficient production support.
Manage unloading of deliveries and improve warehouse operations using lean practices.
Directly supervise material handlers and shipping/receiving clerks, including scheduling and training.
Qualifications:
Required:
5+ years in warehouse operations, including 3+ years as a supervisor.
Experience with computerized inventory systems, barcoding, and transportation management software.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Office.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking skills.
Preferred:
Experience in space/flow planning, purchasing, and stock control.
Knowledge of transportation systems like Home Depot, Lowe’s, UPS, and FedEx platforms.
