Welder

A metal fabrication shop seeking Production Fitters/MIG Welders for our 1st shift.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Follow safety rules and policies
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team
• Be open to coaching and training
• Achieve or surpass production goals
• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and aluminum (certifications are a plus)
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Fit and arrange components into fabricated products
• Grind and sand welded areas to various finishes
• Operate shop equipment such as band saws and tube benders (experience with other equipment is a plus)
• Forklift operation experience is a plus
• Pass a welding test before employment
• Provide your own tools (welding helmet, tape measure, framing square, welding pliers)
• Wear safety toe boots (other required PPE will be provided)
