Job Details

Responsibilities:
Safety
  • Ensure, administer and document Site Safety for all contractors and visitors, as required.
  • Report and mitigate all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Submit incident reporting and lead accident investigation, if required.
Environmental management
  • Ensure all personnel that are on the site/facility are following Hazmat requirements for the storage, transportation and use of chemicals.
  • Report and mitigate all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Ensure compliance by all personnel on site with site environmental policy, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Submit incident reporting and lead accident investigation, if required.
Contract management
  • Manage service agreements for the wind farm, including WTG (OEM or ISP) and BOP agreements.
  • Execute service contracts such as PSA, MSA along with NDA.
  • Source service providers on as needed basis.
  • Execute the on-site portions of the Asset Management Agreement (AMA).
  • Provide ongoing communications and follow up with the Owner/Customer, landowners and other persons as required.
Site Management
  • Review and track scheduled maintenance and repair work. Gather all reports, as needed, for Asset Management review.
  • Coordinate with all personnel performing work at the wind farm, to minimize loss of production and maintain work schedule. This includes ensuring facilities are ready to receive contractors to perform site work.
  • Schedule BOP work, including road maintenance and repairs, snow removal, recycling, trash removal, pest/vegetation control, etc.
  • On call for substation events.
  • Perform routine inspections of all WTG and BOP assets and report on conditions; these inspections should also occur following major events.
  • Control of site activities including access to site.
  • Key control and access log.
  • Review of Job Safety Analysis/Job Safety Briefing (JSA/JSB) and relevant certification.
  • Coordinate with all parties on scheduled outages.
