Summary:
This job summary outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for the position of Radiology Technologist. The technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures, positioning and immobilizing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate radiographic images. They also maintain equipment cleanliness, stock supplies, and manage patient records using RIS/PACS systems. The applicant must hold a NYS DOH License, and be ARRT Radiography certified. One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

Perform radiology procedures and accurately position and immobilize patients.
Operate x-ray and other imaging equipment and adjust technical factors for accurate images.
Respond to patients' needs and maintain equipment cleanliness and operation.
Stock clinical supplies and perform quality assurance/continuous quality improvement functions.
Utilize RIS/PACS systems to manage patient images, records, and files.
Assist clinical providers with procedures, treatments, and surgical preparations.
Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and regulatory CME requirements.
