We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Construction Project Controller to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial and project management professional to apply their skills in a fast-paced, complex, and rewarding construction environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and managing accounts payable and receivable. They will also be adept at using Sage 100 or equivalent software. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Construction Project Controller, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy across all our projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all financial aspects of our construction projects, from initial budgeting to final financial reporting and job cost reporting.
2. Managing all accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
3. Developing and implementing financial planning strategies to optimize project profitability.
4. Utilizing Sage 100 or equivalent software to manage and analyze financial data.
5. Collaborating with project managers and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Preparing and presenting regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting project performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
7. Identifying potential financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or CFA would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or project control within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting, financial planning, and budgeting.
4. Strong experience with Sage 100 or equivalent financial management software.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
