Accounting Manager

*This is a hybrid remote position in West LA*

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Performing month-end and year-end close processes.
3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
4. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
6. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.


Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 6+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience
3. Must have month-end closing experience
4. Must have experience supervising at least 1 or 2 employees, including delegation of work and review
5. Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
6. Proficient in MS Excel
7. Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is a plus but not required
8. CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
