Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they escalate.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery running smoothly and reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
- Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others during maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
- Work on electrical systems, mechanical systems, mills, laths, circuits, PLC, ABB, Fanuc, automation, and robotics.
- Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference and quality control purposes.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve processes and achieve common goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with preventive maintenance, equipment repair, troubleshooting, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety compliance.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems, quality control, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with components, mills, laths, circuits, PLC, ABB, Fanuc, automation, and robotics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- A relevant certification or diploma in a technical field is preferred.
