Job Details
We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production and facility equipment within a high-volume manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on position responsible for troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, completing repairs, and helping minimize production downtime.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment.
Respond to production-line breakdowns and equipment issues.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic equipment issues.
Repair or replace defective equipment components.
Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding as needed.
Read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and equipment schematics.
Identify recurring equipment problems and develop permanent solutions.
Maintain accurate preventative maintenance and repair records.
Assist with parts and maintenance supply needs.
Follow plant safety, OSHA, GMP, and food-quality procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
Experience troubleshooting production machinery.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to weld using TIG, MIG, and/or Stick processes.
Ability to read schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Comfortable working in temperatures around 50-60°F.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred
Food or beverage manufacturing experience.
Technical school or associate degree.
Ammonia refrigeration / PSM experience.
SAP experience.
