The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D CAD, experience working in nuclear labs, and a solid understanding of physics.
Responsibilities:
1. Leverage your expertise in 3D CAD to create, revise, and optimize complex design models and detailed drawings for various engineering projects.
2. Apply your knowledge of physics and nuclear labs to design and analyze components, ensuring they meet the necessary safety and functionality standards.
3. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project specifications and develop design solutions that meet the project goals.
4. Perform simulations and analyses to validate design accuracy, reliability, and performance.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
6. Stay updated with the latest advancements in 3D design technologies and industry trends to ensure the delivery of innovative and efficient design solutions.
7. Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising on the quality of work.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
4. Experience working in nuclear labs with a strong understanding of the associated safety regulations and procedures.
5. Solid knowledge of physics, particularly as it applies to engineering design.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality, precise design models.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex design concepts to non-technical team members.
