Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Managing accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor communication.
2. Handling accounts receivable tasks, such as invoice creation, payment collection, and account reconciliation.
3. Recording and posting financial transactions to the general ledger, including creating and adjusting journal entries.
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records through diligent bookkeeping.
5. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
6. Working closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
7. Participating in financial audits and assisting in the resolution of audit findings.
8. Continuously improving accounting systems and procedures for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the finance industry.
2. Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and bookkeeping.
3. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex financial data.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
