A&P Mechanic Lead

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid A&P License is required
• 7+ years of heavy maintenance experience on large commercial aircraft required

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Recent aircraft maintenance supervisory/lead experience is preferred
• Maintenance experience on corporate aircraft is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assigns personnel to tasks and provides guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training in technical procedures, safety protocols, and general shop practices.
• Ensures quality and quantity of work from assigned crew members, taking accountability for outcomes.
• Collaborates with Manager and Supervisors to efficiently execute duties.
• Upholds housekeeping, tool control, and environmental safety programs, ensuring compliance.
• Maintains and performs preventative maintenance on aircraft, components, and equipment.
• Oversees aircraft status and coordinates with Maintenance Manager and team members.
• Assists in procuring aircraft parts and assessing their serviceability.
• Reviews aircraft records to confirm completion of required maintenance and associated documentation.
• Adheres to technical data, manuals, regulations, and maintenance directives.
• Determines aircraft and component airworthiness according to Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Demonstrates compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Exhibits a strong commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
