We are an international company providing sweeteners and food ingredients to some of the world's biggest food manufacturers. Due to continued customer demand, we have an immediate need for an Account Executive to support our SE Region market. This is a fully remote, fulltime, direct hire, base + commission role. Ideal candidates will have previous experience selling into food & beverage manufacturers.

Is your background a match?
* 2 years of experience in outside sales in the food ingredients industry selling to food or beverage manufacturers (REQUIRED)
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the SE region
* Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities
* In-depth knowledge of food ingredients and their applications in various food products
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently
* Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
What will you be doing?
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within food and beverage manufacturers
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase sales
* Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key decision-makers, showcasing the benefits and features of our food ingredients
* Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties
* Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer profiles, sales activities, and market feedback
