General Summary: The ideal candidate will maintain and manage specific outside territory by meeting and exceeding sales goals. Manage customer accounts to ensure “premiere” service and technical support to customers with on-site consultative visits on a regular and ongoing basis.

Job Details
***Qualified candidates will be local to New Jersey to cover pharma/biopharma/biotech accounts in the Tri-State territory of PA, DE, NJ, & NY***
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site customer visits to provide sales information with regards to our Consumables: Cell Culture, Sample Preparation, BioProcessing, Fermentation, Consumables, Protein Expression and related products
- Ensure that assigned territory meets sales goals
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers
- Sell products in various market segments via direct sales and through distributors
- Actively sell: Local vendor shows and company sponsored trade shows
- Identify and follow-up with potential new sales leads through social media, the company CRM, customer referrals and email campaigns.
- Develop sales strategies for assigned territory including business plans and market analysis
- Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture
- Manage and maintain information in company CRM
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management.
- Limited overnight travel (except sales meetings /attend national conferences)
Requirements:
- Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical
- Knowledge of the account base in the geography preferred
- Laboratory hands-on experience preferred
- Basic Knowledge of Cell Culture and/or High Pressure Liquid Chromatography
- Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas
- Experience in Microsoft office and a CRM program
- Skilled in the art of negotiation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Life Sciences or Chemistry required
