We are a leading custom apparel and manufacturer in the Sales industry and we are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Account Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who knows the ins and outs of the apparel industry and can manage large accounts with ease. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, apparel, clothes manufacturing, account management, and custom apparel. They will also have a firm understanding of clothing sales, account management, sales strategy, business development, negotiation, sales process, networking, market research, strategic planning, and cross-selling/up-selling.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and growing existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
2. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
3. Conducting market research to understand competitors and market trends.
4. Providing innovative ideas for business growth and acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams.
5. Negotiating contracts with potential clients and meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
6. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
7. Identifying and reaching out to potential customers for business expansion.
8. Networking with industry professionals and potential clients to drive brand awareness.
9. Participating in strategic planning and setting objectives to increase profit and business growth.
10. Cross-selling or up-selling where necessary to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the Sales industry, specifically dealing with apparel and clothes manufacturing.
2. Proven experience as an Account Manager, or in a similar sales/customer service role.
3. Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
4. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a problem-solving attitude.
7. The ability to network and build relationships with professionals in the industry.
8. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
