Our client industry leading manufacturer and supplier of nutritional supplements! They are growing and are looking for additional leadership support in the accounting department!
- Office hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (some flex)
- Not a bonus potential for this position as of today
- Benefits/costs attached; also on-site gym and employee product purchase at 80% of retail value
- PTO: 18 days are accrued the first year and then front-loaded at the beginning of next full year; after 5 years = 25 days and after 10 years = 33 days

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting for publicly traded companies, specifically with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and Workiva software. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file 10-K and 10-Q reports in compliance with SEC regulations.
Utilize Workiva to streamline reporting processes.
Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes.
Ensure GAAP compliance and support external audits.
Analyze financial data and provide insights for management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience working as an accounting professional in a publicly traded company
Strong knowledge of SEC reporting and GAAP compliance.
Proficiency in Workiva and financial reporting tools.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
