Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Accountant, Statutory Reporting. This role is a crucial part of our finance team, responsible for ensuring our financial reports meet statutory requirements and are in line with GAAP, GAAS, and SEC regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our organization's financial operations, providing you with the chance to showcase your accounting expertise and contribute to our company's financial success.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and submit accurate and timely statutory financial reports in accordance with GAAP, GAAS, and SEC regulations.
2. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
3. Analyze financial data and identify any discrepancies or issues that need to be addressed.
4. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current accounting principles and statutory reporting requirements.
5. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in statutory reporting.
6. Provide advice and guidance on financial matters to senior management, helping to inform strategic decision-making.
7. Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
8. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on SEC OR Statutory reporting.
3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and SEC regulations.
4. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and useful information to management.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and understandable way.
6. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. CPA or similar professional accounting designation would be an asset.
