Job Details

What You’ll Do
  • Own full-cycle accounts payable: invoice entry, 3-way matching against purchase orders, GL/job/cost category coding, approval routing, check runs, and vendor payments
  • Maintain vendor records and compliance documents, reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and support 1099 prep
  • Process company credit card activity and expense reports
  • Prepare ACH payments, wires, and transfers for approval, and record banking activity in the ERP
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, prepare recurring journal entries (including line of credit activity), and bring unresolved items to the Controller
  • Serve as the final accounting check on customer invoices, credits, and payment applications (coding, period, progress billings, retainage), then manage receivables through aging and post payments
  • Support month-end close and keep organized, audit-ready records year-round, including pulling support for external auditor requests

What You Bring
  • Relevant accounting experience, typically 5+ years, including full-cycle AP, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • A working understanding of debits, credits, and accrual accounting
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Sage Intacct or a comparable ERP
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Preferred: construction accounting, job costing, progress billing, retainage, and ServiceTitan experience
  • Preferred: accounting degree (equivalent experience welcome)
