Our work helps keep industrial environments safe and efficient. As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.

The Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial records, handling payroll, preparing regular reports, and supporting leadership in making informed financial decisions. A background in HR is a plus, but not required. This position requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and a proactive approach to managing the financial operations of a dynamic service-based business.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Oversee and process payroll for all employees, including job costing allocations when necessary
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Maintain compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
Work with management to analyze job costing and profitability
Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
Provide HR support, including employee onboarding paperwork, benefits administration, and recordkeeping
Collaborate with our office and field teams to ensure financial records reflect job performance accurately
Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payments

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a service or construction-related industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Encore, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to create and analyze detailed reports
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience supporting HR functions is required, including familiarity with onboarding, benefits, and compliance
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
