Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks that are integral to our company's operations. Your duties will include:
1. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
2. Performing detailed reconciliations of all accounts.
3. Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
4. Analyzing financial data and creating reports to help management make informed decisions.
5. Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.
6. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
7. Participating in the continual improvement of our financial procedures and controls.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Specific qualifications include:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
4. Experience with accounting software and databases.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
6. Experience in performing account reconciliations.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
9. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
