A bit about us:
We are currently seeking an experienced Consulting Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role will be instrumental in providing financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management. This position will report to the CFO and will have high visibility to senior management.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives and provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management.
- Prepare financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliations, wire transactions and manage corporate credit card programs.
- Handle expense reimbursement procedures and manage accounts payable.
- Analyze complex financial reports and records.
- Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures.
- Review journal entries to ensure accuracy.
- Train staff on budgetary control measures.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP standards and regulations.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, wire transactions, corporate credit card programs, expense reimbursement procedures, and accounts payable.
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
