Are you a proactive and detail-driven Accountant ready to take the next step in your career? An established, employee-owned manufacturing company based just outside Baltimore is looking for a skilled Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to join their collaborative finance team.
In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with departments like Sales, Engineering, and Production to improve cost accuracy, support financial reporting, and contribute to company-wide performance tracking. What You’ll Do:
What We’re Looking For:
- Prepare journal entries and monthly ledger reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate costs for new projects and quotes
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making
- Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
- Reconcile inventory (WIP, raw materials, finished goods) and perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Participate in monthly close, annual audits, and budgeting
- Assist with payroll journal entries and train to take ownership of the bi-weekly payroll process
- Support cycle counts and participate in physical inventory
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Epicor or another ERP system preferred
- Exposure to ADP Workforce Now is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- High personal integrity and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
