We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role is an integral part of our organization, responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations. The successful candidate will have experience with GAAP, various accounting systems, and reconciliations. In addition, the candidate will have experience supporting and assisting with 340B program compliance.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role is an integral part of our organization, responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations. The successful candidate will have experience with GAAP, various accounting systems, and reconciliations. In addition, the candidate will have experience supporting and assisting with 340B program compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
- Prepare and submit annual 990 tax forms.
- Ensure all financial transactions are conducted and recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Utilize QuickBooks for the management of all financial transactions and reporting.
- Perform monthly reconciliations: bank, credit card, donation, and other forms of funding.
- Support and assist with 340B program compliance, ensuring all financial aspects of the program are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the finance team to complete financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. when necessary.
- Work closely with management team to create budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the healthcare industry and/or non-profit.
- Experience with annual 990 tax forms, GAAP, QuickBooks, and reconciliations.
- Experience supporting and assisting with 340B program compliance.
- Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
- Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not mandatory.
