We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to, managing financial statements, inventory, cost accounting, and journal entries. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP and have a solid understanding of vlookups and pivot tables.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and treasury.
2. Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Managing the inventory process, including recording, tracking, and maintaining inventory records.
4. Performing cost accounting tasks, including monitoring and analyzing cost data to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
5. Conducting regular ledger and reconciliation reviews to ensure accuracy.
6. Utilizing vlookups and pivot tables to analyze large sets of financial data.
7. Managing journal entries and reconciling accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
8. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
9. Working closely with other team members to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accountant or similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and experience as a Cost Accountant.
3. Proficiency in SAP and other financial management software.
4. Expertise in vlookups, pivot tables, and other advanced Excel functions.
5. Strong understanding of journal entries, financial statements, and inventory management.
6. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
9. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
