Accountant

We are partnered with a global organization in the industrial manufacturing space who are adding to their corporate accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:
Journal Entries: Prepare and enter journal entries to ensure specific business transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
Prepaid Assets: Maintain and reconcile prepaid asset accounts, ensuring proper allocation and amortization.
Accruals: Prepare and manage monthly and year-end accruals, ensuring all liabilities are recorded in the correct period.
ACH Payments: Process ACH payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Audit Support: Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Open to a recent grad or someone with 1-3 years of experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Knowledge: Familiar with GAAP and accounting principles.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Deadline-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
