We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HYBRID Accountant to join our team. This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where they will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

As a HYBRID Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Preparing and analyzing financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
2. Conducting regular audits to ensure financial information accuracy.
3. Managing account reconciliation and cash flow management.
4. Performing variance analysis to identify and explain any discrepancies in the financial data.
5. Preparing and posting journal entries as part of the monthly and yearly closing process.
6. Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
7. Ensuring all accounting practices are in line with legal regulations and company policies.
8. Collaborating with other departments to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
9. Identifying opportunities for financial and operational improvements and implementing necessary changes.
10. Preparing reports and presentations on financial status and forecast for management teams.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the HYBRID Accountant position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, account reconciliation, cash flow management, variance analysis, journal entries, VAT, and IFRS reporting.
2. An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar professional accounting qualification is highly desirable.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS standards and the ability to apply them in a practical business setting.
4. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
