Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our client. This role will require a strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, financial accounting, cost accounting, tax accounting, project management, GAAP, manufacturing, and ERP. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, providing strategic insights, and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the management team, providing detailed analysis and strategic insights.
• Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models, providing accurate and timely financial data for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, preparing and submitting tax returns as required.
• Oversee the implementation and management of ERP systems, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• Participate in the development of strategic plans, providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to analyze and reduce costs, improving profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing/Construction industry.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, financial accounting, cost accounting, tax accounting, project management, GAAP, manufacturing, and ERP.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Proficient in ERP systems and other financial management software.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills.
