We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Administrator to join our team in the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This is a permanent position designed for a financial professional who is ready to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Administrator, you will be tasked with:
1. Managing obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors.
2. Processing bank deposits and reconciling financial statements.
3. Prepare, send and store invoices.
4. Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments.
5. Submit tax forms.
6. Identify and address discrepancies.
7. Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable.
8. Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets.
9. Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
10. Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
11. Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
12. Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
13. Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
14. Assisting the accounting manager as needed.
15. Managing the full cycle of accounting activities for the company.
16. Collaborating with the finance team on forecasting and budgeting.
17. Handling payroll and vendor compliance.
18. Overseeing construction draw, credit, and invoicing processes.
19. Assisting with billing and other forms of financial reporting.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
5. Experience with accounting software and databases.
6. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data privacy standards.
7. Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
10. Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
11. Proven experience in payroll, journal entries, tax, financing, construction draw, credit, invoicing, vendor compliance, and billing.
