Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for financial accuracy? Do you have a thorough understanding of Quickbooks and a desire to make a significant impact in a dynamic organization? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our part-time Consulting Accounting Clerk position. As part of our Accounting + Finance team, you'll have the opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment. Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Accounting Clerk, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our financial health. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing financial transactions and records, ensuring all numbers are accurate and up-to-date.
2. Processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
3. Using Quickbooks to input data, conduct financial analyses, and generate reports.
4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
5. Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
6. Collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes and systems.
7. Providing financial advice and guidance to management, helping drive business performance.
8. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
9. Resolving financial discrepancies and irregularities.
10. Participating in special projects and performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
2. Proficiency in Quickbooks and other accounting software.
3. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
4. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
5. The ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
6. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
