Job Details
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting function, including maintenance of the company's financial records, support and oversight of 3rd party property managers, forecast preparation, financial analyses, financial statement preparation, and providing support to our acquisition and asset management departments.
Prerequisites:
Public Accounting required (Big 4 a plus)
CPA required
Real Estate clientele is a plus
- Prepare consolidated GAAP financial statements
- Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget
- Assist in financial due diligence process during acquisitions
- Prepare period-end adjustments, accruals and account analyses
- Prepare accounting related to acquisitions, dispositions and other joint venture transactions
- Implement our accounting system at 3rd party property managers for acquired properties
- Review investor reports on a monthly and quarterly basis including detailed variance reports
- Perform lease analysis and net rent calculations
- Direct and support 3rd party property managers on financial and accounting matters
- Support company’s income and property tax returns
- Maintain and assist with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
- Work with external auditors on a quarterly basis
