Our company is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper, you will:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations etc.
3. Prepare and present financial statements and related reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
4. Coordinate and complete annual audits.
5. Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
6. Manage budgeting process with the senior management team.
7. Develop and manage financial systems and policies.
8. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
9. Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
10. Analyze financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
11. Drive the company's financial planning.
12. Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
4. Proven experience in managing the financial aspects of a business, including budgeting, accounts receivable, and payroll.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
7. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
8. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
11. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
