We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent role that will oversee all financial aspects of our construction projects, from budgeting to cost analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as managing the AIA invoicing and billing process. This role requires proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, Timberline, and Viewpoint Vista.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the financial management of construction projects, including budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting.
2. Manage the AIA invoicing and billing process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
3. Maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded using Sage, Timberline, and Viewpoint Vista.
4. Analyze financial data and use findings to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
6. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
7. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects.
8. Review and approve project-related financial transactions.
9. Apply the percentage of completion method for revenue recognition.
10. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting.
3. Strong knowledge of AIA invoicing and billing.
4. Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage, Timberline, and Viewpoint Vista.
5. Experience with project cost and percentage of completion accounting.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Advanced knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
11. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.
